Dan Drinkard nclud'ed

We are extremely proud and excited to announce the latest member of the nclud team; Dan Drinkard. He an enthusiastic developer and UI aficionado, he loves mark-up and highly appreciates great user interface design; truly a perfect fit.

Dan Drinkard

Dan will be joining nclud as a senior Web Developer and Consultant. He is passionate about the psychology behind good UI design, and gets abnormally excited about problem-solving and application flow. He has built content management systems from scratch in PHP, as well as numerous javascript plugins; happily straddling the line between front-end and back-end.

We sought Dan out because he shares our passion for powerful user interface faces that are complimented by code that is just as beautiful as its front-facing visual aesthetic. Dan is also an active member within the community, a fan of Mario Kart and happy hours full of ranting and raving.

Much of his professional life has been spent with L3 Communications, where he went from designing posters and websites as a multimedia specialist to running a 6-million visitor-per-month web operation as technical director of Army.mil in less than 3 years. When he manages to escape the gravitational pull of the studio, Dan relaxes by playing music, snowboarding, and neglecting his website, http://displayawesome.com.

Welcome to the team Dan! Dan will be working from our studio in Washington, DC. A little more about Dan Drinkard.

Welcome to nclud, Dan. I missed meeting you by about 12 hours, as my flight back to Boston left last night. But I’m sure I’ll see you at SXSW in under a week, so it’s all good.

PS. I’d check your desk and chair out a few times today. I watched Alex and Martin put them together yesterday, and I can’t guarantee your safety.

Patrick, thanks for the congrats, and the heads-up. The up/down lever on my chair is already broken… See you at SXSW!
