Who doesn’t love Typography; we are big fans of it here. So for all you type nerds out there, we’ve got a little present.
It isn’t all Mario Kart and Ping Pong here at the nclud studio, we also make fun little iPhone web apps too when we can squeeze it in. In just a few hours, a little idea turned into a little web app for the iPhone; we are happy to introduce you all to hugeType: http://hugetype.com.
It is exactly what it says it is, huge type for the iPhone. Creative Director, Alex Giron, was discussing with Senior Developer, Dan Drinkard, the fun concept of being in a room with a bunch of iPhone users and being able to put their phones together to create a message. Well, in just a few hours, Dan took that idea and together with Alex a little web app was born. With hugeType you can browse a large collection of glyphs and if you have enough iPhones together you can form a message. It doesn’t yet manage your taxes or track your cars mileage, but we like to call that “phase two”.
So go out, grab some iPhone friendly people and create a message.
