Nielsen Offers Free Web Accessibility Report
The Nielsen Norman Group has just given all of us web best practices nuts a nice little holiday gift. They are making their web accessibility report, “Beyond ALT Text: Making the Web Easy to Use for Users With Disabilities”, free to download. The retail value of this report is $124, but it is free as as their holiday gift to their loyal readers, as a thanks for their support over the years.
The report provides 75 Best Practices for Design of Websites and Intranets, Based on Usability Studies with People Who Use Assistive Technology. This is a great read for any web designer, web developer or web accessibility fanatic.
