Wow, what a year … who knew our fifth year would be our busiest. There is a lot going on at nclud and it seems like we’re moving too fast to ever have enough time to share it all.
What we’ve been working on … we haven’t been updating that portfolio section very often, so what’s been going on in DC other than playing Mario Kart?
Well … we’re still kicking butt with our friends at Apple; while we can’t share exactly what we’ve been working on, just know they’ve been keeping us on our toes and really pushing our creativity!
The Kiplinger team is ready to launch their first iPhone, iPad and Android phone application that we designed and developed for them to complement their mobile web experience we launched earlier this summer.
Keep on the look out for a C-SPAN mobile initiative launch shortly … it’s pretty slick, we’re excited! It’s been submitted to the app store … any moment now!
On the local front, there is a Clearspring redesign floating out there somewhere that we hope to see launch shortly.
We’ve also engaged with the amazing team at HelloWallet, this is a project we’re really excited about … we designed and developed the their first iPhone app, which we’re happy to say is now available in the Apple app store.
Being the community oriented group we are, we’ve partnered with AIGA and ADCMW (Art Directors Club) with the launch of the AIGA50 website as well as the creative behind the new ADCMW DesignBrawl series!
And, of course we still keep it real with our start-up clients. We’re in anticipation for the upcoming launch of Profile.com; it’s fun, it’s personal and damn does it look good. We worked on the brand identity as well as the user experience design.
Check out the redesign for Greatist.com … it’s pretty snazzy, if we do say so ourselves!
Lastly, look for a redesigned Howard University School of Business website to launch before the end of the year!
And … we’ve moved! We’ve grown a bit this year and have unfortunately outgrown our amazing studio space on Florida Avenue. But, we’re moving-on and moving-up … our new studio is located in the 19th and M Street NW area of Dupont Circle. We’re doing a complete custom gut and design job … so, it’s going to be a few months before it’s ready; we’re hoping just in time for our annual holiday party … this time in January!
We’re going to go a bit radio silent until the New Year … we’ll be launching a completely redesigned nclud.com!
