SXSW Bowling Is Back On!
We are proud to announce the launch of the 2008 SXSW ABX website: http://geekslovebowling.com. The 3rd annual SXSW ABX is on! So, what is it? It’s bowling for geeks by geeks, because geeks love bowling. It’s teams of six, any six people you want to bowl with while at SXSW, competing for first place over beers and food with friends.
Yeah that’s right, it’s bowling with teams — teams of six to be exact. Teams of friends, companies, groups … whatever! If teams of strangers who just want to bowl and have a good time. Check out the teams, see who is playing and even drop some smack talk on their team page.

SXSW ABX is an event created by Bryan Veloso which has become an extremely popular after-party at the SXSWi conference. Unfortunately Bryan wasn’t able to make it to SXSW this year and we stepped up to help keep the event going.
This event means a lot to us; it is truly a community event for us by us. Last year when we found out that people would have to pay for the event, that just seemed wrong — so we stepped up and became the primary sponsor to ensure everyone could bowl for free. So, naturally when we heard that the event was being canceled this year, we had to help out. So we contacted Bryan and have been working hard to keep the spirit of the event alive.
Register your team at http://geekslovebowling.com. Don’t have a team? That is okay. Just register yourself under team name “solo” and we will match you up.
