We Aren't the Only Ones That Love TextPattern
While obsessively-compulsively checking our site statistics – we came across a new and very interesting website dedicated to the CMS platform, TextPattern. welovetxp.com was launched on July 10th and aims to provide the TextPattern community with a place to show off their work.
Like most showcase/community sites – I have greater hopes; I believe this site could pave the way for introducing and advocating TextPattern as a CMS of choice for those not currently using or aware of it. We at nclud love and advocate TextPattern – it obviously has its place and isn’t for everyone in every situation – but proves to be the perfect platform for our site and our clients much like us.
I personally hope the site evolves into a community – perhaps with forums. Simply because the appreciation isn’t just for the use of TextPattern, but also well designed and developed websites as well – an overall emphasis on quality! I wish I could give you a top ten list of why we personally use and advocate TextPattern; but that will have to wait for another day and another post.
